So I purchased a used 2012 rzr 800 this summer. After putting 250 miles on it the motor took a dump. Had a mechanic buddy who has worked on these before rebuild it. New cam, lifters, pistons and rings, and valves. After putting motor and tranny back in and connecting electrical and fuel connections he started it and it fired right up and ran great. He shut it down and continued reassembly including exhaust and rest of body etc. After reassembly was complete he went to fire it up and it refused to start. It has spark, fuel pressure, injectors are spraying, compression is 180 in both cylinders, timing is right on, all fuses are good but it just turns over and back fires once in a while but will not start anymore. Anybody have any ideas before I bring it to a dealer?
