Alright, First of all I am a newbie here and a newbie RZR owner so It might be a little lengthy...
I recently bought a 2011 Rzr 800 that was not running. I got one heck of a deal.
I knew the starter was bad, so i fixed that immediately. Now it just cranks over and does not fire, except for some popping everynow and then. So here goes everything I have checked so far.
Spark is good (spark plugs are black and sooty)
Compression test (155 psi but my tester is one of the old ones with a rubber seal you have to hold down, so i know i got a little blow by, if i measured 155 with blowby I think I am good - both cylinders)
I have not measured the pressure of the fuel pump yet, i do know it is pumping fuel but i dont know pressure.
I just downloaded the manual from someones post on here, so i think my next bet is to start checking the resistance on every sensor for the EFI.
Has anyone been in this situation and found something that would be simple for me to look at tonight?
