08 RZR 800 high gear

I have a 08 RZR 800 That won't stay in high gear or go into park. I have bought and adjusted a brand new shift cable. Will go smooth into R-N-L but won't go all the way forward into park or high. I have removed the cable from the bracket on the transmission side and manually put it in high gear and when I take off it jumps out of gear. And I have to push it back down manually and it jumps back out again. Reverse and low both stay in gear without any problems.


Please help.
