Wiring Harness replacement

I am going to order a new wiring harness for my 08 Rzr 800. previous owner tried to do some repairs with butt connectors, he moved the voltage regulator and attempted a homemade rad fan switch. I am looking to start from scratch with the harness. I am just wondering if I should replace it with a 08 or an 09 because of the voltage regulator was relocated on the 09 vs the stock placement on the 08 then still have to relocate it. also the harness has numerous broken clips
