Remove front dry box for cooling?

On my ride this weekend a guy has a 2011 RZR 800S and said he removed his front dry box under the hood to let more air through. He also said he was going to put a couple of vents in the back of the hood. Seems like a good idea so more air can flow through the radiator and up and out verse against the firewall. He advised it helped his RZR run cooler. Anyone do the same? It was in the mid 80's during our ride. My fan came on a lot, but I never got above 190 degrees. I have gauges for temp and batteries.


Any useful input on the dry box removal?
