Hey guys, went up in my new to me rzr 800 on Sunday and it was running great! Up until I attempted to adjust the rear shocks and one of the adjuster just crumbled as soon as I turned it. Planning to do the late/us shock conversion soon.
Anyways, towards the end of the day I noticed a huge loss of power. I was up at around 5k-6k feet of elevation for one, I was high gear pinned to the floor and it would not go above 20-30 mph and seemed like it would only rev to about 4600-4700 rpm. So I started to feather the throttle a bit and I could get it to creep up to about 53 max. Got a chance to look at it today. Fuel pump psi is 35 psi at idle. Belt looks good. But upon further inspection I did find where my intermittent squeak is coming from. Seems to be my one way bearing. Anything else to check or any ideas? Im thinking low fuel pressure mixed with my one way bearing going out could be putting an overload on the engine? Or is my throttle position sensor going out? Any help is appreciated. I am a mechanic by trade so dont cut me any slack on anything I missed.![]()
