I notice on my 800 there is a gap between the hood and fire wall on both sides. Not a huge problem, I'm sure that lets air in to help keep the cabin cool. But riding over the weekend in WV it rained and you have to go through a lot of mud holes and puddles. And I'm not talking about the deep mud holes where you go through and hope you don't get stuck, just normal trial mud and water. Anyway, a lot of mud and water come through these gaps. I put a fuse block and a 3 relays under the dash to keep them out of the elements. They we're fine, all the accessories work, even though the relays were covered in mud. But I think I'm playing with fire here. Sooner or later mud and water isn't good on electrical stuff. So I see two options. 1. Buy a waterproof junction box and put the fuse block and relays in there. 2. Get some rubber and make some flaps or block the gaps.
Thoughts?
Lastly from what I see the 2010 RZR 800 has a 7gal fuel tank. Correct?
Thanks,
